A statistics site that I would use would be http://www.amstat.org/sections/sis/. I would use this site because the route I am taking is the "coaching route" to become an athletic director. According to the website, the "SIS" site was founded in 1992. "The mission of SIS has been to stimulate statistical research with an application to sports, promoting publications devoted to statistical theory and methodology and their application to statistics in sports, and to increase the availability of information concerning the science of statistics and its contribution to sports."
Being a high school basketball and softball coach already, I most frequently use Maxpreps. I think I use that site the most because it is what most coaches use in the Central Valley. You can see all the stats of each team and each individual on the team. You can post pictures, schedules and basically all your information on one website and it is free. It may not be so up to date like the SIS site is, but it is user friendly and it gives the basics.
